# rmResident vs Compass Time

The clearest difference is rating: Compass Time at 4.2 against rmResident's 3.5. rmResident's advantage is review sentiment (28% vs 10%) and chart position (#184 vs unranked). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Compass Time holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.9K and 839 respectively.
