# vFlat Scan vs Presso

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Presso at none against vFlat Scan's 16. Presso also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.2). vFlat Scan's advantage is ratings volume (6.3K vs 3) and review sentiment (79% vs 68%). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vFlat Scan sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Presso asks for nothing beyond the download.

Presso holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: vFlat Scan has 6.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of vFlat Scan's written reviews are positive against 68% of Presso's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

vFlat Scan ships an update every 2 weeks, Presso fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
