# vFlat Scan vs Ultimate Focus

The clearest difference is ads: Ultimate Focus at none against vFlat Scan's shown. Ultimate Focus also leads on device support (6 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.2). vFlat Scan's advantage is ratings volume (6.3K vs 183) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vFlat Scan sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Ultimate Focus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

vFlat Scan holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: vFlat Scan has 6.3K ratings behind it against 183, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of vFlat Scan's written reviews are positive against 85% of Ultimate Focus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

vFlat Scan ships an update every 11 days, Ultimate Focus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
