# Kanban vs GPS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GPS at none against Kanban's 9. GPS also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). Kanban's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kanban sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. GPS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kanban ships an update fortnightly, GPS every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
