# myNotes vs PageBite

The clearest difference is monetization model: myNotes at free with in-app purchases against PageBite's subscription. PageBite's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myNotes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and PageBite sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myNotes ships an update every 3 weeks, PageBite every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
