# RealTime Transit vs GoOnSet

The clearest difference is ads: GoOnSet at none against RealTime Transit's shown. GoOnSet also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RealTime Transit ships an update every 2 months, GoOnSet fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
