Beatly is a generative music app built for those moments when you want to create but need a spark. Generate two-bar instrumental loops in Default, lo-fi, chiptune, cinematic, and dance styles, then choose a key, adjust the tempo, record the result, or save it for later. Beatly is not an AI music generator. Instead of prompts or trained models, it creates music on your device using a purpose-built algorithm and curated musical patterns. FEATURES • Generate as many new musical ideas as you like • Create two-bar instrumental loops with drums, bass, chords, and melodies • Choose from default/rap, lo-fi, chiptune, cinematic, and dance styles • Select a key or let Beatly choose one automatically • Change the tempo or keep the automatically selected BPM • Record the live mix as a WAV audio file • Save, load, and delete your generated tracks • Share a saved project with Beatly Pro and continue working on it there • Get guidance directly inside the app with contextual help WHO IS BEATLY FOR? Beatly is made for producers and composers looking for a quick spark of inspiration; singers and artists who need a beat to write, practice, or rehearse with; musicians who want an accompaniment for practice; game developers, filmmakers, and content creators looking for distinctive instrumental ideas; and anyone curious about generative music without AI. HOW DOES IT WORK? Open Beatly and tap Play. The app chooses a set of instruments, tempo, key, and musical patterns, then creates two unique bars—eight beats—of instrumental music. Tap Next whenever you want to generate a different idea. Choose a style to change the musical character of the next track. You can also select a specific key or leave it set to Random, and adjust the tempo at any time. When you find an idea you like, save it and return to it later, share the project, or record the live playback as a WAV file. WANT TO TAKE THE TRACK FURTHER? Beatly Pro is a separate app that adds hands-on arrangement, piano-roll editing, a full mixer and effects, custom samples and SoundFonts, chord progressions, MIDI and audio export, and studio connectivity. To continue a free Beatly project in Beatly Pro, save the track, choose Share Beat from the menu, select Beatly Pro in the share sheet, and then open Beatly Pro. The project will be imported automatically. If you enjoy Beatly, a rating or review on the App Store means a great deal. Questions or ideas? Send us a message—we would love to hear from you.

About

Memory MIDI

Features

Memory MIDI turns your iPhone into a MIDI controller for Ableton Live — and your Apple Watch into a knob. Play and control your set straight from your phone: drum pads, faders, sliders, an XY pad and transport buttons under your fingers, while MIDI flies to your Mac over Wi-Fi, USB or Bluetooth. No audio interface, no firmware, no extra hardware. The app uses standard Apple MIDI built into macOS. WHAT'S INSIDE • Multi-touch drum pads — hit several notes at once, just like a real controller • Faders and sliders for volume, sends, or any parameter you map with Cmd+M • XY pad to control two parameters at once • Mixer, Performance and Buttons screens for live control • Transport: Play, Stop, Record and locators, plus a lyrics notepad • Apple Watch: the Digital Crown becomes a MIDI knob — several knobs, each with its own CC, color and range • Built-in presets plus a custom layout builder: add controls, assign MIDI numbers, rename, save • Control values survive an app restart • Automatic reconnect and a Panic (Note Off) for stuck notes THREE WAYS TO CONNECT • Wi-Fi — Apple Network MIDI (RTP-MIDI), no cables • USB cable — enable iPhone in Audio MIDI Setup on your Mac • Bluetooth MIDI — no Wi-Fi needed Step-by-step instructions for each are right on the Connection screen. QUICK START OVER WI-FI 1. On your Mac open Audio MIDI Setup → MIDI Network Setup 2. Create a session, enable it and connect your iPhone 3. In Ableton Live: Settings → Link, Tempo & MIDI — turn on Track and Remote for the network input 4. Map controls with Cmd+M — and play Memory MIDI is built to be a simple, honest tool for live performance and production: minimal setup, maximum control. This app is supported by ads. Requires an iPhone on iOS 26 and a Mac with a DAW. The Apple Watch knob requires watchOS 26.
