# Lie to Us vs Forensic Master

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lie to Us at 100% against Forensic Master's 6%. Lie to Us also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Forensic Master's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 45 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forensic Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Lie to Us asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forensic Master holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forensic Master has 43K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Lie to Us's written reviews are positive against 6% of Forensic Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lie to Us ships an update every 45 months, Forensic Master every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
