# Reinbow vs Trend.app

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trend.app at none against Reinbow's 6. Trend.app also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.6). Reinbow's advantage is ratings volume (6.6K vs 32) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reinbow sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Trend.app asks for nothing beyond the download.

Reinbow holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reinbow has 6.6K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Reinbow's written reviews are positive against 94% of Trend.app's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reinbow ships an update weekly, Trend.app monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
