# Reinbow vs Echo

The clearest difference is ads: Echo at none against Reinbow's shown. Reinbow's advantage is ratings volume (6.6K vs 75) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reinbow sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Echo sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reinbow holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reinbow has 6.6K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Reinbow's written reviews are positive against 97% of Echo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reinbow ships an update weekly, Echo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
