# FARA App vs Wi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FARA App at none against Wi's 1. FARA App also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Wi's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FARA App asks for nothing beyond the download.

FARA App ships an update every 4 months, Wi fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
