# Website Blocking vs Routine Planner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Routine Planner at freemium against Website Blocking's subscription. Routine Planner also leads on device support (5 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.5). Website Blocking's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Website Blocking sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Routine Planner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Website Blocking ships an update every 11 days, Routine Planner every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
