# Umo Mobility vs BloomingtonLink

The clearest difference is monetization model: BloomingtonLink at free against Umo Mobility's free with in-app purchases. BloomingtonLink also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Umo Mobility's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Umo Mobility against 4.7 for BloomingtonLink. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Umo Mobility has 6.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Umo Mobility ships an update every 2 months, BloomingtonLink every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
