# Holiday_Memory vs PPSSPP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Holiday_Memory at none against PPSSPP's 1. PPSSPP's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PPSSPP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Holiday_Memory asks for nothing beyond the download.

Holiday_Memory ships an update every 3 months, PPSSPP every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on January 6, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
