# Widget Notes Home Lock Screen vs Notchify

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Widget Notes Home Lock Screen at none against Notchify's 1. Widget Notes Home Lock Screen also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (113 vs 11). Notchify's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notchify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Widget Notes Home Lock Screen asks for nothing beyond the download.

Widget Notes Home Lock Screen holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widget Notes Home Lock Screen has 113 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Widget Notes Home Lock Screen's written reviews are positive against 75% of Notchify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widget Notes Home Lock Screen ships an update every 2 months, Notchify every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
