# Shortcuts & Scriptable vs Loccali

The clearest difference is rating: Loccali at 5.0 against Shortcuts & Scriptable's 4.3. Loccali also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Shortcuts & Scriptable's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shortcuts & Scriptable sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Loccali sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loccali holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shortcuts & Scriptable has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Shortcuts & Scriptable's written reviews are positive against 0% of Loccali's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shortcuts & Scriptable ships an update every 2 months, Loccali every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
