# Promote Yourself vs Schedex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Schedex at every 2 months against Promote Yourself's every 4 months. Schedex also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). Promote Yourself's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Promote Yourself against 5.0 for Schedex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Promote Yourself has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Promote Yourself ships an update every 4 months, Schedex every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
