# CollaNote vs TagReCon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TagReCon at none against CollaNote's 4. TagReCon also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). CollaNote's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CollaNote sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. TagReCon asks for nothing beyond the download.

TagReCon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CollaNote has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
