# CollaNote vs AssignList

The clearest difference is ratings volume: CollaNote at 15K against AssignList's 1. AssignList's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CollaNote sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and AssignList sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AssignList holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CollaNote has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CollaNote ships an update every 6 days, AssignList every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
