# ScreenZen vs RLD Input

The clearest difference is rating: ScreenZen at 4.9 against RLD Input's 4.0. ScreenZen also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (50K vs 6). RLD Input's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScreenZen sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. RLD Input asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScreenZen holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScreenZen has 50K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of ScreenZen's written reviews are positive against 100% of RLD Input's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScreenZen ships an update every 3 weeks, RLD Input every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
