# ThinkBack vs MindCastle

The clearest difference is update cadence: ThinkBack at every 3 days against MindCastle's every 3 weeks. ThinkBack also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThinkBack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and MindCastle sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThinkBack ships an update every 3 days, MindCastle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
