# GIF Please vs Bad Roads

The clearest difference is rating: GIF Please at 5.0 against Bad Roads's 4.0. GIF Please also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GIF Please sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Bad Roads sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GIF Please holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GIF Please has 24 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

GIF Please ships an update every 9 days, Bad Roads every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
