# GeekSmart vs KOVIET

The clearest difference is rating: GeekSmart at 2.9 against KOVIET's 2.2. GeekSmart also leads on ratings volume (185 vs 6). KOVIET's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 11%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GeekSmart holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeekSmart has 185 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of GeekSmart's written reviews are positive against 25% of KOVIET's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
