# LM vs RTMP Broadcaster

The clearest difference is rating: RTMP Broadcaster at 4.7 against LM's 4.2. RTMP Broadcaster also leads on ratings volume (30 vs 5). LM's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 57%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LM sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and RTMP Broadcaster sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RTMP Broadcaster holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTMP Broadcaster has 30 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of LM's written reviews are positive against 57% of RTMP Broadcaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
