# OPTX vs Playersoft Enrollment

The clearest difference is rating: Playersoft Enrollment at 5.0 against OPTX's 3.3. Playersoft Enrollment also leads on iOS requirement (9.1 vs 15.0). OPTX's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Playersoft Enrollment holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OPTX has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OPTX ships an update fortnightly, Playersoft Enrollment every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
