# Instachew 360 vs Security Home

The clearest difference is rating: Security Home at 4.3 against Instachew 360's 1.5. Security Home also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 2). Instachew 360's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security Home sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Instachew 360 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Security Home holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Home has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Instachew 360's written reviews are positive against 19% of Security Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Instachew 360 ships an update every 5 days, Security Home every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
