# ScanEasy vs SuperScan

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ScanEasy at none against SuperScan's 10. SuperScan's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 18). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperScan sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. ScanEasy asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ScanEasy against 4.6 for SuperScan. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperScan has 1.6K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two.
