# Project Blacksmith vs Gang Life

The clearest difference is rating: Project Blacksmith at 4.3 against Gang Life's 3.3. Project Blacksmith also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Gang Life's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 20%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Project Blacksmith holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 117 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Project Blacksmith's written reviews are positive against 37% of Gang Life's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
