# Presto vs Homam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Homam at 100% against Presto's 38%. Homam also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Presto's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 21) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Homam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Presto has 6.1K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Presto's written reviews are positive against 100% of Homam's.

Presto ships an update every 5 days, Homam fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
