# Presto vs Kafi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kafi at 88% against Presto's 38%. Kafi also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). Presto's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kafi sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Presto asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kafi holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Presto has 6.1K ratings behind it against 556, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Presto's written reviews are positive against 88% of Kafi's.

Presto ships an update every 5 days, Kafi every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
