# Librivox vs Scriptura

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scriptura at 100% against Librivox's 53%. Scriptura also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). Librivox's advantage is ratings volume (242 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Librivox sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Scriptura asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scriptura holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Librivox has 242 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
