# App ICON Changer vs Iconic

The clearest difference is ads: Iconic at none against App ICON Changer's shown. Iconic also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 52%). App ICON Changer's advantage is ratings volume (867 vs 58) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App ICON Changer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Iconic sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

App ICON Changer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: App ICON Changer has 867 ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of App ICON Changer's written reviews are positive against 67% of Iconic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

App ICON Changer ships an update every 6 weeks, Iconic monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
