# My Widgets vs Widget Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Widgets at 51% against Widget Pro's 0%. My Widgets also leads on ratings volume (353 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). Widget Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Widgets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widget Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widget Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Widgets has 353 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of My Widgets's written reviews are positive against 0% of Widget Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Widgets ships an update every 3 months, Widget Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
