# PESI vs myce pro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PESI at 3.5K against myce pro's 1. PESI also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). myce pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PESI sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and myce pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myce pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PESI has 3.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PESI ships an update fortnightly, myce pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
