# Pixelwoods vs Elementrix

The clearest difference is ads: Elementrix at none against Pixelwoods's shown. Elementrix also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixelwoods sells 30 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Elementrix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pixelwoods ships an update every 3 weeks, Elementrix every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
