# Smart Connect vs QuickDrop

The clearest difference is rating: QuickDrop at 4.7 against Smart Connect's 1.0. QuickDrop also leads on ratings volume (126 vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 weeks). Smart Connect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickDrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Smart Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

QuickDrop holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickDrop has 126 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Connect ships an update every 6 weeks, QuickDrop every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
