# Orbitv vs CTV+

The clearest difference is rating: Orbitv at 4.7 against CTV+'s 1.0. Orbitv also leads on ratings volume (108 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). CTV+'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbitv sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. CTV+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Orbitv holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbitv has 108 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Orbitv's written reviews are positive against 45% of CTV+'s.

Orbitv ships an update every 5 weeks, CTV+ every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
