# Score Anything vs TMB Reference Guide

The clearest difference is monetization model: TMB Reference Guide at free against Score Anything's free with in-app purchases. TMB Reference Guide also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Score Anything's advantage is ratings volume (978 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Score Anything sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TMB Reference Guide sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Score Anything against 5.0 for TMB Reference Guide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Score Anything has 978 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Score Anything ships an update every 4 months, TMB Reference Guide every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
