# CDL Prep™ vs CDL Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: CDL Prep™ at every 4 days against CDL Prep's every 6 months. CDL Prep™ also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). CDL Prep's advantage is ratings volume (329 vs 59) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 14.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep™ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and CDL Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Prep™ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Prep has 329 ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CDL Prep™ ships an update every 4 days, CDL Prep every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
