# PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen vs Snap Widget

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen at none against Snap Widget's 5. PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 20). Snap Widget's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 52%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snap Widget sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen asks for nothing beyond the download.

PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen has 1.3K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen's written reviews are positive against 80% of Snap Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
