# Breathwork vs Elsewhere Sounds

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Elsewhere Sounds at 100% against Breathwork's 54%. Elsewhere Sounds also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Breathwork's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Breathwork sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Elsewhere Sounds sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elsewhere Sounds holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Breathwork has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Breathwork's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elsewhere Sounds's.

Breathwork ships an update every 6 weeks, Elsewhere Sounds fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
