# Starti vs Ici

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ici at every 6 days against Starti's every 3 months. Ici also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Starti's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Starti holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Starti's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ici's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Starti ships an update every 3 months, Ici every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
