# MapChart App vs FlipArtify

The clearest difference is monetization model: MapChart App at free with in-app purchases against FlipArtify's subscription. MapChart App also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 52%). FlipArtify's advantage is chart position (#108 vs unranked) and ratings volume (29K vs 4.9K). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapChart App sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and FlipArtify sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MapChart App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlipArtify has 29K ratings behind it against 4.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of MapChart App's written reviews are positive against 52% of FlipArtify's.

MapChart App ships an update weekly, FlipArtify every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
