# MapChart App vs Flag Maker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MapChart App at 4.8K against Flag Maker's 75. MapChart App also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). Flag Maker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapChart App sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Flag Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for MapChart App against 4.8 for Flag Maker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MapChart App has 4.8K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two.
