# HaloVPN Pro vs Hyper VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Hyper VPN at none against HaloVPN Pro's shown. Hyper VPN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). HaloVPN Pro's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HaloVPN Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hyper VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyper VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HaloVPN Pro has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
