# DJI Virtual Flight vs Fld Pro

The clearest difference is rating: DJI Virtual Flight at 3.9 against Fld Pro's 3.0. DJI Virtual Flight also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 4). Fld Pro's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 34%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DJI Virtual Flight holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Virtual Flight has 1.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of DJI Virtual Flight's written reviews are positive against 50% of Fld Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DJI Virtual Flight ships an update every 2 months, Fld Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
