# DJI Virtual Flight vs Light Widow

The clearest difference is rating: Light Widow at 4.7 against DJI Virtual Flight's 3.9. DJI Virtual Flight's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Light Widow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Virtual Flight has 1.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
