# DJI Virtual Flight vs FingertipRC

The clearest difference is rating: DJI Virtual Flight at 3.9 against FingertipRC's 2.7. DJI Virtual Flight also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 3). FingertipRC's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 34%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DJI Virtual Flight holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Virtual Flight has 1.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of DJI Virtual Flight's written reviews are positive against 50% of FingertipRC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
