# Pedometer vs Healthy Widgets

The clearest difference is price: Pedometer at Free against Healthy Widgets's $1.99. Pedometer also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (626 vs 6). Healthy Widgets's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Pedometer is free to download; Healthy Widgets costs $1.99 up front. Pedometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Healthy Widgets asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pedometer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pedometer has 626 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Pedometer's written reviews are positive against 57% of Healthy Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pedometer ships an update every 2 weeks, Healthy Widgets every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
