# PROTEINHOUSE vs BittyBean

PROTEINHOUSE and BittyBean both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of BittyBean's written reviews are positive against 48% of PROTEINHOUSE's. BittyBean also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PROTEINHOUSE's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PROTEINHOUSE against 5.0 for BittyBean. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PROTEINHOUSE has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 48% of PROTEINHOUSE's written reviews are positive against 100% of BittyBean's.

PROTEINHOUSE ships an update every 3 weeks, BittyBean every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
